Andrew Yocum, MD

Dr Andrew Yocum is a board certified emergency physician. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology before attending Northeast Ohio Medical University where he would earn his Medical Doctorate (MD). During his medical school career he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and was a Gold Humanism Award recipient. He would go on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency at The Ohio State University where he would serve as chief resident. Since graduating from residency he works clinically as an attending emergency physician at an academic medical institution and level 1 trauma where he serves as the Associate Program Director of their emergency medicine residency program. Additionally, Andrew works as a part time flight physician, serves as medical director for two local Fire Departments, and is a SWAT Physician for an urban Police Department.
