Biography

Chika Odili is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career doing an internship at a prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center on an adolescent GI unit where she was able to work with individuals being treated for Anorexia and Bulimia. Chika went on to complete her bachelor’s in nursing degree at Prairie View A&M University and began working as an RN in another prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center, where she worked on a pediatric unit caring for her patient’s physical and mental health. She then went on to receive a master’s of science in nursing from the University of Texas (Houston) and worked in various settings including hospitals, urgent cares, clinics, home health, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, further inciting her passion for caring for both adults and children’s physical and mental health. In an effort to help with the grieving process of losing her father, she later relocated to New York and continued her passion. Her outlook on healthcare involves taking a holistic approach in which she values the wisdom used in eastern medicine; relying on the bond between mind, body and spirit.
