Dr. Brittany Kunza obtained her bachelor’s of science from California State University, Fullerton, where she graduated magna cum laude. She went on to receive a master’s degree in nutrition from Columbia University to fulfil her personal interest in health and the holistic approach to medicine. She then went back to Southern California for medical school at Keck School of Medicine of USC and stayed in Los Angeles to complete her family medicine residency at the Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Brittany remained at Kaiser for a year to practice as an attending physician and family medicine residency program faculty. In addition to Brittany’s work in the medical field, she is also a mom and a wife who loves to exercise and get her family moving! After welcoming her first child and moving to Washington D.C. in 2019, Brittany worked at a tech startup in healthcare called Forward. She spends much of her free time in the kitchen whipping up healthy, beautiful (gluten-free) dishes, listening to clinical and nutrition podcasts, visiting the numerous Smithsonian museums in D.C., and planning new adventures and travels with her family.
