COVID-19 spreads like an Upper Respiratory Infection: primarily from close contact with an infected person through air droplets entering your nose, mouth and throat. While rare, transmission of COVID-19 through surfaces and objects (such as doorknobs and groceries), can occur.

Help prevent the spread of COVID-19: aside from wearing a mask and social distancing in public, other factors such as limiting engagement with those outside your household, washing your hands regularly and wiping common area surfaces with antibacterial cleaning products, are key to prevention.
