Study Highlights

The objective of the study was to compare the quality of AI and physician recommendations for common acute conditions present in actual cases handled by Cedars-Sinai Connect, a virtual primary care platform managed by Cedars-Sinai. The population included those who had virtual health visits for respiratory, urinary, vaginal, eye, or dental symptoms, which represents over 60% of all urgent care cases. When comparing AI and physician recommendations:

AI Comparison

11% Physicians Rated Better

Cross references with physical findings Fewer unnecessary referrals
