Dr. Hugelmeyer is a graduate of University of Chicago and Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at the Oregon Health Sciences University and an emergency medicine residency at the same institution. He was formerly board-certified in family practice and currently board-certified in emergency medicine and fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Hugelmeyer has had extensive clinical, teaching and administrative experience spanning 30+ years living and practicing in Australia, the Netherlands, the Middle East and the United States in both primary/urgent care, and emergency/critical care settings. He lives in Las Vegas and is an avid low-intensity hiker, scuba diver, pilot and sometime couch potato and Netflixologist.
